How do I put my CycleOps bike trainer together?

do i literally unskewer my back tire and insert that thing with the handle looking thing into it? I am confused.

I thought I would show this video to help your out. Hey, congrats on purchasing a CycleOps trainer by the way. I'm sure you will be happy with the trainer for many many years and miles to come.

    NO.

You shouldn’t have to remove anything from your bike, the nut and the skewer should locate into the fixing mechanism of the trainer (and the little handle tightens it up!)

Unless you have a model that I’m unfamiliar with!

EDIT: Sorry to contradict you M R but I have never come across a trainer that needed special skewers?. ( A remote possibility but I may be wrong??)

Most all trainers have a replacement skewer of some sort… so yes do that – it should all be in the instructions.

no you keep the whole thing together and screw the two knobs together into the wheel tight enough so it stays on then your ready to go and it seems you have a lot of problems lady im sorry but you do

Sorry about some of the mean spirited comments. CycleOps is well known for providing a replacement skewer. The thought is why damage, bend, or warp the skewer you use for your outdoor riding when you can replace the skewer very quickly. Most definitely use the replacement skewer and simply follow what they do on the video. Hope that helps!
